The Vlora Tower introduces a bold architectural statement to the evolving skyline of Vlora, Albania. This multifunctional tower is defined by its dynamic volumetric composition, where stacked and interlocking horizontal planes give the structure a sculptural presence. The building’s form is conceived as a series of staggered volumes, creating a rhythm of cantilevered terraces and recessed voids that break down its verticality, while providing expansive outdoor spaces for residents.

About
The facade is articulated through a play of solid and void, with deep, cantilevered slabs projecting outward, forming horizontal bands that define each floor. These slabs, together with floor-to-ceiling glazing, establish a contrast between heavy and light elements, creating a layered aesthetic that alternates between open, transparent surfaces and solid, sheltered zones. The use of continuous terraces along the perimeter of the tower reinforces this horizontal emphasis, creating an organic flow in the facade that seems to cascade down the structure.
